Is hydrolyzed protein easier to for my cat to process? Will that lead to decreasing/stable creatinine levels?

Because hydrolyzed protein is so much easier for a cat's system to process, it is highly recommended for kidney cats. It also produces fewer metabolic waste by products for your feline's kidneys to handle.

It is reasonable to assume that creatinine levels could be affected in a positive direction. Kidney disease can not generally be reversed and is a progressive condition, however, the hydrolyzed protein when balanced with low phosphorus and the proper fat level can slow its progression.

We recommend our LID Zero Mature Health for KD cats.
