YA ZERO is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.

ZERO Premium High Protein Cat Food

Like lions and tigers, domesticated cats are obligate carnivores and by definition have no nutritional requirement for starch/carbohydrates or plant proteins in their diet. When a feline doesn’t eat her natural diet – meat and fat, she can become overweight and at risk for diabetes. Fortunately, in many cases, feline diabetes can be prevented, effectively treated and even reversed with diet and lifestyle changes. Feeding a diet like Young Again ZERO Cat Food can help your pre-diabetic or diabetic cat avoid starch and plant proteins by giving her a carnivore-based alternative to traditionally prescribed cat foods. Plus, our Zero Premium High Protein Cat Food containing less than 1% starch can be fed to every cat in the house. Cats naturally love the meaty taste and at about 47 cents a day, Young Again ZERO Premium High Protein Cat Food may cost less than many cat foods recommended for felines that cannot tolerate excess starch.

Young Again ZERO Premium High Protein Cat Food may help your cat:

  • Manage intolerance to high starch levels
  • Build lean muscle at the expense of fat
  • Free choice feed and eat less
  • A satisfied cat has more energy and a friendlier disposition
  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Maintain a healthy urinary tract
  • Highly digestible protein and fat for a cleaner litter box
  • Soft, kitten-like fur you love to touch
  • Cost about 47¢/day to feed (canned food can cost up to $2/day)

Satisfaction Guaranteed. Within 30 days if you don't agree that your cat(s) never looked or felt better, return the unused portion of food, from your initial order for a full refund. Buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

The best way and the only way we recommend feeding any of our Young Again Cat Foods is Free-Choice Abundance Feeding (FCAF). FCAF is easy for you and the best way to ensure that your cat will not over eat our food. Overeating will always lead to obesity and greatly increase the likelihood of your cat developing a more serious condition like diabetes, kidney disease, stones and/or crystals.

You need at least one bowl of food for every cat in the house. The bowl must be 8-10 inches across and about 1 inch deep. A standard 9 inch pie plate you can buy anywhere is perfect. Do

not use those cute, little 4 inch cat dishes they sell everywhere. Water can be in any size bowl you want but we recommend bigger the better.

You must put 2 full 8oz cups of food in each bowl. The bowl must never be allowed to be less than half full at any given time; never. If you have to fill the bowl more than every 3 days then you need more food in the bowl.

Each bowl must be placed around the house so that when a cat is standing at any one bowl they will not be able to see any other cat, at any of the other bowls. Place bowls in different rooms and floors for best results.

That’s it follow these simple rules and you will have a happy healthy house and here is the reason why. Cats are fiercely independent; they are not pack animals. They live in the wild, by themselves, except when mating or rising kittens. In the wild when they are hungry they go hunting. In the home if the bowl is half empty they think the food supply has dried up and they are going to starve. They are naturally independent and can’t reason out that you are going to show up and fill the bowl again. So they do the only thing they can do and that is to eat as much of the dwindling food supply as they can before one of the other cats does the same thing. They will over eat a dwindling food supply even if they are not hungry, in the hopes that sometime in the future things will get better.

We know this is a different way to feed your cat, but when feeding Young Again Cat Food, it is the best way. Please read our paper on obesity/overeating in cats.

Before and during use, please close bag securely and shake to evenly distribute the external flavoring, probiotics and enzymes that settled during shipping.

Some cats are hesitant to try a new food, while others plunge right in and chow down. If you have the second kind of cat, just feed them the new food exclusively and they’ll be happy. Free feeding, which means leaving a bowl out for them all the time, is the best way to feed Young Again kibble.

On the other hand, if your cat is wary of change, we suggest the following strategies. Rather than gradually replacing the old food with the new one—a method better suited to dogs than cats—grind up some of the old food and coat the new food with it. This will make the new food seem more familiar to the cat. (The opposite can work, too, by grinding up the new food and coating the old food with it.) A third method is to grind up some Young Again kibble, put it into their wet food, and slowly increase the amount every day. While you’re doing this, be sure to put a bowl of dry Young Again kibble nearby.

Cats have about a 4-7 day memory span, so it might take that long for them to fully adapt to a new food. It helps to be persistent, consistent and patient during the process. Also, please watch your cat carefully. An average 10-pound healthy cat will eat about a quarter to a third cup of Young Again kibble every day, and pass a stool every 24 to 36 hours.

It is very important that your cat eat every day. Don’t ever try starving a cat to get them to try a new food. Your cat should never go 12 to 18 hours without eating or drinking, because that can cause serious liver problems. If you are not having success with our suggested feeding methods, feel free to contact us.
